Terms and Conditions:
1. Service Agreement:
By engaging the services of Pack Leader Dog Services, the client agrees to the terms and conditions set forth in this agreement.
2. Standard of Care:
a. The client acknowledges that Pack Leader Dog Services will provide quality care and attention to your dog(s) during the scheduled service booked.
b. Pack Leader Dog Services is not responsible for any pre-existing health issues, injuries, or illnesses of the dog(s).
3. Safety Measures:
a. All dogs must be up to date on their vaccinations.
b. The client is responsible for ensuring that their dog(s) have a properly fitted collar or harness during provided during the service booked.
c. Pack Leader Dog Services reserves the right to use either a standard leash or a leash provided by the client.
4. Scheduling and Cancellation:
a. Services will be scheduled by mutual agreement between the client and Pack Leader Dog Services.
b. A minimum of two days' notice is required for cancellations. (Seven days for peak season and school holiday periods) Failure to provide the required notice will result in a cancellation fee of 50% of total booking fee.
c. If Pack Leader Dog Services is unable to gain access to the dog on the scheduled day, the service will still be charged at the full rate.
5. Payments:
a. Payment for services is due two days prior to start date. (one week prior to school holiday period and peak seasons)
b. Late payments may incur additional charges.
6. Liability:
a. Pack Leader Dog Services will take all necessary precautions to ensure the safety of the dog(s) during bookings.
b. The client agrees that Pack Leader Dog Services will not be held liable for any injury, loss, or damage to the dog(s) or the client's property, except in cases of gross negligence or intentional misconduct.
c. Pack Leader Dog Services carries public liability insurance, which is designed to cover third-party claims resulting from incidents during booked services.
7. Key Handling:
a. If the client provides a key for access to their premises, Pack Leader Dog Services will take reasonable steps to secure the key. However, Pack Leader Dog Services is not liable for any loss or damage that may occur as a result of key use.
8. Termination of Services:
a. Either party may terminate services by providing written notice in advance.
b. Pack Leader Dog Services reserves the right to terminate services immediately if the dog(s) display unsafe or aggressive behavior.
9. Privacy:
a. Pack Leader Dog Services respects the privacy of its clients and will not disclose any personal information to third parties without prior consent.
10. Photo and Video Release:
a. The client grants permission for Pack Leader Dog Services to capture photos or videos of the dog(s) during services booked for promotional or documentation purposes.
b. These materials may be used on Pack Leader Dog Services' website or social media platforms.
11. Weather Conditions:
a. Pack Leader Dog Services reserves the right to adjust or cancel scheduled walks due to extreme weather conditions, such as heavy rain, thunderstorms, or extreme heat.
b. Every effort will be made to notify the client in advance of any changes to the schedule.
12. Pet Health Emergencies:
a. In the event of a health emergency, Pack Leader Dog Services will make reasonable efforts to contact the client as soon as possible.
b. If the client cannot be reached, Pack Leader Dog Services is authorized to seek veterinary care for the dog(s) at the client's expense.
13. Updates and Communication:
a. Pack Leader Dog Services will provide regular updates regarding the dog(s) and their well-being through text, email, or other communication methods.
b. The client agrees to notify Pack Leader Dog Services of any changes in the dog(s)' health or behavior.
14. Special Requests:
a. Any special requests or specific instructions for the care of the dog(s) must be communicated in writing and agreed upon by both parties.
15. Prices and Surcharge of Peak and Holiday Seasons
a. Prices are subject to change at any time. Prices are per calendar day.
b. Holiday surcharge of $10 per day applies during all NSW school holiday periods, long weekends, all Public Holidays, and Easter for all overnight stays and daycare. Surcharge for dog walking, and daily welfare visits is $5 per day per dog during this time.
c. Christmas Peak holiday surcharge of $20 per day applies between 20th December – 28th January each year to all overnight stays and daycare. Surcharge for dog walking and daily welfare visits is $5 per day per dog during this time.
16. Referral Program:
a. Pack Leader Dog Services may offer incentives to clients who refer new customers. Specific details regarding the referral program will be provided separately.
17. Client Feedback:
a. Pack Leader Dog Services welcomes client feedback and uses it to continually improve its services. Clients are encouraged to share any concerns or suggestions.
18. Changes to Terms:
a. Pack Leader Dog Services reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Clients will be notified in advance of any changes.
19. Governing Law: These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Australia, and any disputes will be resolved in accordance with these laws.
